The best thing about the "Protest Lutefisk" shirt is that it was worn by a middle-aged Latina woman working the perpetual sidewalk sale on Westmoreland. At first I thought I had read it wrong, that it actually read "Protect Lutefisk." The back of the shirt said, rather enigmatically, "A hug waiting to happen." I went back around and gaped at her front once more to confirm...Yes indeed, it said "protest," in big white blocky capital Helvetica letters.
